Thar she be! The final instalment of the Kitty Cat Indian Trilogy. A magnificent journey through Rajasthan where I finally got to sift the sands of the Thar desert through lines in my hands (harsh rap routines).
Fumbling through these photos has been an epic journey in and of itself. Upon return, I couldn't even speak about my experience on the other side of the world because I hadn't wrapped my head around what had just happened, really. India moves like a red supergiant, hurdling its way through the universe, swallowing all in its path with its colossus magnetic pull. Once inside, your perception needs time to shift. You must enter the star with abandonment and acceptance. Don't be fooled, it's much more difficult than you may think. It takes time to let go. And it takes even longer to process the changes it will impart on you once you return to your little planet.
I'm thankful to have these little digi-memories to come back to as time passes and the blush begins to fade. But I know I'll continue to feel the after affects of taking this journey with my mumma sita for possibly the rest of my life. And oh yes, I know that I'll be going back. Next time 3 months, methinks. There is simply too much to taste of the Mother Country to leave it at that.
So here's the last leg of our Indian odyssey. Enjoy the interwebular time capsule of my life colliding with the lives and landscapes of others. I hope it moves or inspires you to jump into a new interstellar adventure of your own. xoxoxooxoox
